| | WPA International Congress in Istanbul, Turkey | | 2006-7-21 13:43:31 Chinese Society of Psychiatry Zou Yizhuang MD, PhD |  World Psychiatric Association in collaboration with the Psychiatric Association of Turkey and the Turkish Neuropsychiatric Society is organizing the "WPA International Congress", on July 12-16, 2006, was successfully closed in Istanbul, Turkey.
More than 2100 participants joined the Congress and more than 950 people presented their papers during the meeting.
There are about 30 Chinese psychiatrists come to the congress.
Professor Chen Yanfang and Professor Zou Yizhuang from China presented as key speakers on the congress, their topics are "Universal and unique of Mental Health in China" and "Changing needs and new perspectives for psychiatry and mental health services in China".
The next WPA International Congress will be held in Melbourne, Australia in 2007.
